Distinguished Governor,

it’s a great pleasure for me to invite you with your Club to the important Rotarian meeting organized in Marostica in occasion of the historical event “La Partita a Scacchi a Personaggi Viventi – The Human Chess Game”.

The show, which is represented on even numbered years, is going to take place on Friday 10th September at 9.00 p.m., Saturday 11th September at 9.00 p.m and Sunday 11th September at 5.00 p.m. and at 9.00 p.m.

For the opening evening on Friday 10th September 2010 at 9.00 p.m., special seats on the central stand are reserved for Rotarian Friends.

As explained in the programme, Rotarian Clubs will arrive in Marostica in the afternoon (5.30 p.m.) for a short guided tour through the historical centre. Later, at 6.30 p.m., special dinner with local products and at 8.30 p.m. accomodation on the central stand (Vip area).

The invitation for this event in Marostica includes also our friends from Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland and France, and it will be a further occasion to renew the spirit of friendship which inspired the similar meeting organized in September 2000.

Obviously, for the farthest Clubs we can organize, on request, overnight stays and special programmes for the following days.

Over 650 characters wearing medieval clothes, the Castles and the ancient town with its medieval walls will be the magic frame of this event that wants to be inspired by feelings like friendship, love and solidarity.

For a better organization, send your reservation by e-mail or by fax by 20th July 2010. Please follow the instructions that you can find in the reservation form and Veneto Marketing of Bassano del Grappa (VI), the society which is entrusted with the organization will answer to all your requirements.
